Here are some roughs for my newest song about a medieval cartographer that’s tired of just drawing maps and wants to see the world for himself.

I’ve got three verse melodies for this song, “Let’s Go”.  Which ones your favorite?  Leave a comment below and help me write this song! And if you haven’t had a chance to listen to the other demo I posted last week, you can listen here.

    I vote version 2!

Char, I’m partial to version 2, as well. I dig the pick-up contrast between verse and chorus. Emphasizes the “Let’s Go” message. I think version 1 is best for radio, though. Thoughts?

  2. Butterscotch says:

I love melody #2 so much! But I think melody 1 is best for radio and such. A good problem to have!

  3. mike f says:

I think version 1 is a better verse. Version 2 might be a bridge, or some other section, though.

  4. Definite favorite is #2! I knew it before I had even listened to #3.

They are all great but I liked Version 2 the best. It is fun how the beat picks up. What a great way to get people excited about your music. Fun.
